Home with a space elevator

Something I've been working on steadily on my land was a space elevator. More accurately, it is the lower 4km portion of a space elevator which can transport people to various platforms attached to the space elevator cable. The platforms attached to the cable are rather bare bones, but I like the way it turned out. Especially since it was the sort of thing I have always wanted to do, but never did until now.
Teleporters are definitely much more practical, but seeing all the skyboxes pass by as you ride the space elevator is a lot more fun.
